Fox Haven Class Descriptions

Weclome to the wonderful world of stained glass art. At Fox Haven Glass Studio we take the time to make sure you get the attention you need while learning to create stained glass art.
Our classes are kept small and personal - limited to only 6 students at a time max. Listed below is a list of classes we currently provide. If you have any questions please feel free to call or stop by. We'd love to meet you and answer any questions you have.

|
BEGINNER PANEL CLASS
You will learn to make a small window panel (approx 11" x 17")with about 21 pieces. The pattern is provided but there are many options to work with. Students learn the Tiffany copper foil method. Class covers patterns, glass selection, glass cutting techniques, foiling, soldering, framing and finishes. Supplies not included. Supply list provided at sign-up. Class are 3 hour sessions for six weeks.

SIX PANEL LAMP CLASS
This is an advanced class for people who have experience doing flat stained glass pieces and want to expand their skill level by learning to do dimensional projects. Students will learn how to properly construct a six panel lamp. Patterns will be available or student can use their own with instructors approval. Supplies not included. Supply list will be provided at sign-up. Classes are 3 hour sessions for six weeks.

MOSAICS & STEPPING STONES
These classes are offered on occasion. All supplies are provided and the class only takes about an hour and a half. In MOSAICS students will work on a small project learning about using patterns and glass layout and grouting. STEPPING STONES are a great project for decorating yards. Students will create a stepping stone learning mold preparation, glass layout, special technique for pattern edges, concrete prep and pouring.
